Newport Beach House is one of the Longwood venue, a luxury beach wedding venue located in Newport RI.
Jamie and Kevon’s Newport Beach House wedding day started with heavy clouds and sprinkles of early summer rain. We had to change the original plans for first look and decided spontaneously to make it happen on the hallway outside of Jamie’s room. They both were so emotional when Kevon turned around and they both had the first glance at each other.
At Newport Beach House, the ceremony was changed to indoors as the weather was not looking good. It was a Filipino wedding ceremony where many rituals and readings take place. There were veil ceremony, cord ceremony and coin ceremony. Each ritual signifies the important values of marriage and the union of two individuals. This ceremony was filled with joyful tears and laughters.
I was praying for a better weather after their ceremony, so we could go outside for some portraits. Finally I spotted signs of golden sun rays was about to break through the thick stormy clouds after we finished family portraits and wedding party portraits. We hurried up and went outside. I absolutely loved what we found. A field of yellow Danfidel with golden sun coming though the foggy far grounds.
We all were amazed by what we saw after the rain on the beach outside of Newport Beach House. Jamie and Kevon had so much fun running through the flower field while the wind picked up her fabulous long veil in the air perfectly.
But whatI love the most from this RI wedding is something else. It was the bride and her sweet and funny father. I was so fun to watch their father daughter dance, the Cha Cha. Jamie’s energy was unbelievable! I really admired how close Jamie is to her father. And awww, the speech from her father. That was funny, sweet and emotional. A photo worth thousand words.
